Seroto competitions and Daily Guess use real money (Seroto Wallet, in Rand). They are only for adults in Lesotho. Raffles also use the wallet, have no age limit, and are not limited to Lesotho. This page is required for Google Play real-money contest listings and for local consumer protection.
Who may play
- People under 18 do not get access to Competition, Daily Guess, weekly competition, or the Competitor role. The app hides those screens and the server refuses the actions.
- People under 18 do not get access to Apply. That includes artist, advertiser, enterprise, funder, farmer, farm store, marketer, competitor, and witness applications.
- Competition is only for Lesotho. Competitions and Daily Guess require age 18 or older and an account country of Lesotho. Other countries open only after a valid licence is in place.
- A date of birth is required on every account so these rules can be applied.
- Raffles have no age limit and are not limited to Lesotho. Students may join raffles.
- Anyone may create an account, including people under 18. Music and other features that are not listed above can stay available. Some of those features still need email verification, identity checks, or a paid registration fee, as shown in the app.
- Event tickets are not competition entries. Ticket purchases follow the Terms of Sale (Tickets).
How money is used
Entries are paid from your Seroto Wallet. Wallet cash-in uses M-Pesa, EcoCash, or Lenaka — not Google Play Billing. Licensed contest apps must not use Play Billing for wagers or prizes.
Play within your means
- Only enter with money you can afford to lose.
- Set a personal limit. Take a break if play stops being fun.
- Competitions are not a way to earn a living or recover losses.

Account controls
You can close your Seroto account from the app (Profile → Delete account) or at seroto.org/account-deletion. Closing the account deletes associated user data subject to legal retention.
